It doesn’t get much better than this for good ‘ol comfort food!
We go here from time to time for a great breakfast (served all day) or lunch or dinner. This time I tried the fish and chips. Excellent I might say with a very good home-made crunchy crust. I substituted my fries for yam fries which were delicious. The small salad was good too. We also had the Texas hamburger. Excellent as well. I have previously had their corned beef hash which is home-made, not out of a can. Everything here seems to be home-made, including their wonderful meatloaf or meatloaf sandwiches and pies. Just great comfort food all around. Take your time, relax and enjoy your meal. Treat yourself to a slice of pie or a root beer float. No hurry here. Service is always good too. Would like to see them get a beer and wine license. I think they are working on that now.
We highly recommend this restaurant!
Corn beef hash is really good here. Enjoyed the strong coffee and delicious raspberry peach pie. It was hard to finish the portion was large! I really glad I chose this place for lunch.
I love this series of cafes. I go to the Woodinville location much more, but they were slammed this morning.
Awesome place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is almost always great, and in bad days, it’s merely above average. American comfort food done right!!!
Don’t come here if you’re a vegetarian or vegan or avoiding gluten or looking for everything to look like modern art. It’s just old-fashioned, down-home cooking.
We just ate breakfast there yesterday morning. Our food was hot, fresh and very tasty, the service was quick, attentive and friendly. I think my breakfast was called “the Continental,” which included nice, fresh fruit and the best blueberry bran muffin I’ve ever had. It was a weekday morning, so it wasn’t crowded. Very nice experience.
We appreciate any and all comments from our customers. Let us know how we’re doing!
